All Laura Paladino Invitations are individually customized and hand-assembled regardless of the size of your order. This means that, like a work of art, each identical invitation is slightly unique. Every one of our invitations is inspected as it is being created to ensure that it meets highest quality standards possible.
We take special care in creating, assembling, and packaging your invitations right from our workshop to your doorstep. We pride ourselves on our uncompromising use of the highest quality materials - many imported from paper mills and factories all over the world. This alone sets Laura Paladino apart in the industry. You can order any of our custom-inspired invitation lines (including coordinating reply, directions card, program, place card, panel menu, book-fold menu, and thank you card) by placing an order online. For security and confirmation purposes, payment information is collected via telephone after your order is placed (This applies to orders placed directly online off our website). For faxed orders, payment information may be included on the faxed order form.

|Do I Need To Make An Appointment/Consultation? What Are My Options?|
There are a number of ways you can place an order for our products.
1) SHOP ONLINE - INVITATIONS - Our website features a full portfolio of our invitation and stationery lines. You can price out and order your entire invitation and stationery order directly online. Because of the custom nature of our invitation lines, we have opted to use a system where we contact you after your order is placed. This allows us to confirm your details, collect secure payment information, address custom requests, and of course answer any questions you might have. That way, you remain an integral part of the process - informed every step of the way - until your order is completed!
2) SHOP ONLINE - BOUTIQUE - We're much more than invitations! We have thousands of products and hard-to-find wedding essentials. Our online boutique shopping site is a separate website where you can place and pay for your order directly online via our secure site. We carry everything from guest books, photo albums, wedding party gifts, candles, garters, apparel, jewelry, cake toppers, favours/favors (& boxes), ribbons, stationery, ring pillows, tabletop decorations, toasting glasses, books, music, pens (& bases), honeymoon or destination wedding gear, tiaras, veils, anniversary & baby items, confetti, to funny novelties, & more!! Please note items can only be viewed and ordered online via our separate Wedding Boutique website.
3) ORDER CUSTOM STATIONERY - Most of our online invitation and stationery selections can be tailored to specific custom requests. For a list of the most common custom requests, see the "Custom Request" section on this page. If, however, your event has unique requirements that are not addressed either in our invitation lines or through our common custom requests, we would be happy to conduct a personal consultation appointment to assess your unique needs. Our personal consultations can also be conducted over-the-phone for our pan-Canadian and US clients.
Please note: Our online invitations are available through the internet or over the phone only. Consultations are reserved ONLY for custom invitations and stationery (and special requests) not already found on our website. If you are interested in any of our online invitations and would like a closer look, we encourage you to order a sample(s) of the invitation you're interested in. The cost of the sample will be deducted from your invitation order should you decide to place an order with us.
|How Do I Order Invitations, Reply Cards, Programs, Thank You Cards, etc.?|
Really easy! Just follow these steps:
Decide which invitations and stationery items you would like to order, then review the master price list, then chose your typeface/font selection(s). Fill in all the information on the order form and you're ready to go! We can accept your order form via the following methods:

§ You can email your information to us by following the form fields in supplying the information directly via email. Remember to follow the form carefully and submit COMPLETE information to us.

After you submit your order form, we'll process it and contact you (usually within 48 hours) to confirm your order details, address any special requests, and collect payment information. We'll also establish a timeline to bring your order to completion.
Once we process payment and have received your wording(s), we'll draw up digital proof(s) for each component you've ordered. You'll be emailed proofs as PDF documents. You'll have the opportunity to accept or reject the proof.
After you approve all your proofs, we take your order to print, then assemble and prepare your order for shipping/delivery. You'll be notified when your order is being shipped.
TIP: Remember to fill out your form carefully. Be mindful of spelling, salutation, capitalization and correct mailing information. We cannot be held responsible for any errors, misspellings, misinformation etc. that are submitted to us.
|How Long Will My Order Take To Complete?|
Timelines to complete an invitation and/or stationery order vary. Generally speaking, an average order should take about 2-4 weeks to complete. Keep in mind that a lot of the timeline is dependant on how quickly you submit and approve all of your wording(s). If there are delays in submitting wordings and approving proofs, timelines may have to be adjusted to compensate for the delays. You'll get a much better idea of your order's individual timeline when we contact you after your order is placed.
TIP: Please remember to allow yourself as much time as possible between
ordering your invitations and the actual event date. Also, it is much easier,
quicker, and more cost effective to order extra invitations at the time of
your original order rather than ordering additional invitations later. Generally, it is accepted practice to add a quantity of 10% to your order for this purpose.
|What Gets Printed? And How Do You Print?|
Depending on which stationery items you order, heres what gets printed:
1) Invitation Card Main Wording/Text & Back Flap of Envelope Address
2) Response Card Main Wording/Text & Front Flap of Envelope Address
3) Directions Card Main Wording/Text (Written Directions Only)
4) Place Card No Printing (Usually Hand-Written By Customer)
5) Program Main Wording/Text
6) Menu (Panel OR Book-Fold) Main Wording/Text
7) Thank You Card No Printing (Usually Hand-Written By Customer)
Were pleased to offer a variety of different printing forms. You many choose one of the following:
A) Flat Black Printing
B) Raised Black Printing
C) Colour Offset/Lithography Printing
D) Raised Colour Printing
Please note that the colour selection for each invitation line is pre-determined to coordinate with the colours and patterns unique to the invitation and stationery line. Of course, you are permitted to select the "black" option (flat or raised) instead of colour for any invitation and stationery line component. Print colour is stated in each invitation line collection description.
Print colour substitutions (from one colour to another colour) where possible are considered a special custom request (additional charges will apply). Additional forms of printing may be available for custom invitations and stationery requests but are not applicable to any of our online invitation and stationery collections. |How Many Invitations & Stationery Components Do I Order?|
That's a question only you can answer. Remember, invitations are not one per guest, but are usually required as one per couple/family (except if children over 18 years of age are living in the same household which protocol dictates would require a separate invitation).
Typically, most of our customers work out a preliminary count for what they need, then the rule-of-thumb is to allot for at least 10-15% extra. There is wisdom in getting more than you may actually need.
The cost of creating additional invitations after an order is processed is a very expensive dilemma. Often materials need to be rush-ordered, then assembled and customized for your invitation within a narrow time frame. This also means that other orders - in progress - must be halted so that the rushed additional order may receive priority. Low volume printing costs and invitation assembly costs may also result in significantly increased expenses.
Ordering additional blocks of invitations could carry a rush fee of $50 or more depending on specific factors affecting your order. Additional shipping charges and printing charges may also apply.
Please be aware that while we will strive to complete your order extension as promptly as possible, we cannot guarantee that the additional invitations will be completed and shipped in time for your event. To put it another way, consider that we've never had a disappointed client who ordered too many invitations - but ordering too few is an all-too-common and needlessly stressful situation best to be avoided.
Note that our minimum order is 50 of any one item.
|Can I Order Some Samples?|
Yes! We can provide an invitation sample for a nominal $15 charge ($20 for US destinations) which includes shipping and taxes. If you decide to place your order with us, we'll gladly refund the $15 ($20 for US destinations) off your total order. You can order up to 3 sample ($15 each or $20 each for US destinations) invitations, but only one sample can be deducted per order.
To order an invitation sample(s), fill out the main order form and list the invitation collection you would like a sample from along the "SAMPLE" line in the box #3 of the order form.
Please note printing style, font selections, and wordings are not customizable for sample orders.
|Can I Get a Catalogue Sent To Me?|
Our main invitation and stationery collections are offered online negating the need for a print catalogue. Also, as we are primarily a custom invitation design house, it would be impossible to distribute a comprehensive catalogue of the thousands of possibilities available to you (with respect to all the possible custom requests).

All prices are in Canadian Dollars as indicated and are subject to shipping charges, federal and provincial sales tax (where applicable). Any additional charges, such as customs, duties, and shipping for orders outside of Canada are the sole responsibility of the customer (FOB Oakville, Ontario, Canada). You can refer to the Shipping Chart below for shipping charges. Please note that an additional minimum charge of $50.00 will be added for any changes or cancellations when they are possible.
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Certified Cheque, or Money Order. Please note that production on orders will not commence until payment is successfully processed. Any NSF Cheque will be automatically subject to a $50 service charge. Also, invitation orders by Money Order will not be processed until Money Order is received and cleared by Laura Paladino Invitation Design.
If you opt to complete your order form online (ie. not by fax), we will collect payment information from you over the phone within 48 hours of receipt of your order form.
|What Are The Shipping Rates & Options (Custom Invitations & Stationery ONLY)?|
Invitation & Stationery orders will usually be shipped to your specified shipping address by Purolator courier (DHL for US destinations). Under some circumstances and at the discretion of Laura Paladino Invitation Design, your order may be shipped by an alternate carrier (via the similar timeline). If you have any questions regarding our shipping policy, please feel free to contact us. Please note all shipping prices are shown and billed in Canadian Dollars. We reserve the right to substitute shipping options at our discretion. In such events, you will be charged the appropriate shipping and informed in advance of shipping.
Note: Selecting a quicker shipping option will only affect your order
delivery at the time it is being shipped. In most cases, it will NOT affect processing time of the actual invitation order prior to shipping.
|Can I Cancel or Return My Invitation Order?|
Due to the highly customized nature of our invitations and custom stationery creations, we are unable to offer any exchanges or refunds on all custom invitation and stationery orders once an order has been placed. All deposits (where applicable) are also non-refundable.
Also, please be aware that we cannot process any changes or cancellations on an order placed with us after printing and/or assembly has commenced.
Once your approval has been given on the final proof - regardless of the information contained in earlier versions of the proof - we will print exactly what appears on the final proof. Therefore, we are not responsible for errors or omissions discovered after the final proof has been approved. We cannot stress enough the need for you to review your final proof slowly and carefully prior to approval.
However, if we have made an error in the printing of your invitations (ie. a misspelled name or error which deviates from your approved final proof), we will take full responsibility and gladly reprint the affected invitations at no additional cost and/or find a comparable solution.

All information collected for the purposes of order processing is not divulged to any third party companies and/or interests under any circumstances without your expressed consent/permission. We will never share your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information except as necessary to fulfill transactions you initiate.

We value our client's trust in our products and services. And let's face it - getting the right products can mean a considerable part of a wedding or event budget. Because of the craftsmanship, quality of materials, service, and competitive pricing already put into place for every one of our custom invitation/stationery products, it's difficult to offer additional discounts. However, we want to recognize those customers who may have large weddings or events but are struggling to afford custom invitations because of the sheer numbers required. In that spirit, we have reduced the "per iunit" cost for larger volume orders. You'll find that the more invitations and stationery items you order, the lower your "per unit" cost!
Also, we've strived to create custom invitations that fit ALL reasonable budget ranges. You'll find custom invitation sets (ie. Invitation, reply, and envelopes) as low as $5 per set! Take your time in reviewing all of our online invitation collections. We're sure you'll find a style uniquely you and affordable too!

|What Typefaces Can I Choose From?|
To place your invitation (and/or any other printed stationery) order with us, you must also select the desired typeface/font you wish you proof to drawn up in. You have the choice of selecting 1 font (FONT A) or 2 fonts (FONT A & FONT B). If you select 2 fonts we will arrange a proof incorporating both fonts. For example, your invitations may have your names in FONT B while the rest of your text is formatted with FONT A. You do not have to choose a FONT B if you don't wish to have more than one typeface/font on your invitation/stationery.
